Bishop Burton College is one of the leading land-based Colleges in the UK with strong and sustained growth in student numbers.

The first phase of our Lincolnshire campus opened in September 2015 and includes new state-of-the-art specialist teaching accommodation including classrooms, science labs, and animal management facility; agriculture and engineering workshops; a learning resources centre; refectory and facilities for administration, student services and staff.

The second phase was recently completed and has provided the campus with a Sports & Fitness Centre and a Health & Nutrition Centre

At this exciting time in the development of the College, we are looking to appoint a forward-thinking individual with a passion for farming and with current skills and knowledge in this area to teach on the agriculture programmes and course manage as necessary.

You will also be expected to undertake applied research in conjunction with student projects with our partner organisations.

Applications are welcome from candidates with experience of working within the farming industry or within agricultural education. A teaching qualification is not essential but you must be willing to work towards one.

The College is developing its curriculum to meet the demands of an increasingly diverse and technological industry so specific knowledge of precision agriculture, bio-renewables or food chain technology would be a distinct advantage.

An excellent communicator, you will have the ability to work under pressure and will be driven by helping people to succeed. If you want to see your career develop with an organisation which continuously strives for excellence, then we would like to hear from you.

If you would like an informal discussion about this post, please contact Bill Meredith on 01964 553009 or email bill.meredith@bishopburton.ac.uk.
