As a European leader, our client develops specialist industrial and consumer products. They are now seeking a Customer Service Co-ordinator to join their team on a 12 month maternity cover contract. 

Within a creative and innovative environment, you'll have the chance to act as the friendly voice of the business and play a key role in our client's day-to-day operations. 

As a Customer Service Co-ordinator, you'll be responsible for supporting our client's sales order process for their consumer and industrial divisions. 

In this diverse role, you'll liaise with the Production, Purchasing and Distribution Departments to ensure that orders are successfully delivered. The major elements of your role will involve dealing with telephone calls and emails. 

Specifically, your role will entail processing orders received via fax, EDI and mail, responding to telephone and email enquiries and investigating invoice queries. You will ensure that each and every customer receives an outstanding level of service and all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner. 

Additionally, your duties will involve: 

- Processing credits and producing monthly credit reports 
- Providing advice and updates to customers regarding their deliveries and reporting delays 
- Inputting sales prices, checking and filing them for audit 
- Liaising with the Production Department, Hauliers and Account Managers regarding commitments, products and pricing 
- Organising export delivery documentation 
- Resolving any invoice queries 
- Posting delivery notes for dispatch 

Interested? To be considered, you must have: 

- Administration experience 
- At a minimum, GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths 

Positive and enthusiastic, as a Customer Service Co-ordinator, you'll need plenty of initiative, a self-motivated and organised approach, the ability to embrace a challenge and plenty of flexibility. Strong problem solving skills and a disciplined attitude are also key, as is the ability to manage your time effectively. 

SAP experience would be beneficial to your application, however this is by no means essential.
