King Edward VI Education Trust provides a core service of strategic and operational financial resource management, HR and Payroll to local schools. Therefore travel to local schools is required.
We are looking to appoint a finance administrator to provide an outstanding and effective financial support service to our schools. The post requires a person with proven financial experience (relevant financial qualification e.g. AAT), attention to detail and an ability to interpret financial data.
The successful candidate will be confident, well organised, have a positive and enthusiastic approach and an ability to maintain confidentiality.
The role will involve processing day to day transactions, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations, VAT returns, preparation of monthly balance sheets and production of management accounts. Ability to use Sage or other similar accounting package and Microsoft applications is essential.
The post holder will report to and be supported by the Finance and Payroll Officer.
