Our client is currently looking to recruit a Children Services Support Worker to join their team, assisting those living within the North Lincolnshire area to reach their full potential and enable them to lead meaningful lives. As a company they are committed to the living wage foundation.

Full in-house training is provided. Driving License essential.

Duties & Responsibilities:
??? Attend staff meetings under the direction of your senior
??? Ensuring that the clients are provided with the highest standard of care at all times
??? Ensure that all clients are enabled to fully participate in decisions affecting their lives
??? Ensure all medication is administered as prescribed when on duty if applicable
??? Ensure the environment is clean and tidy meeting all health and safety requirements
??? Participate in the Companies Personal Performance agreement
??? Handling ad hoc tasks

The support worker is there to ensure all support within the area of responsibility maintains continuity throughout the week for the people you are responsible for. The person will need to be motivated and a problem solver. Lead by example within the staff team ensuring all areas of support are recorded and monitored appropriately. Attend all company training as requested.

Candidate Requirements:
??? A minimum qualification of NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care or equivalent
??? Being approachable and ambitious
??? Able to communicate and listen efficiently
??? Able to work within a team
??? Be thorough in all reporting of events
??? Take responsibility for your own work and share with others
??? Conflict management
??? Being discrete maintaining individuals privacy at all times
??? Coaching others and support new staff to working with individuals
??? Being committed to continued training for self improvement

The successful candidate will be able to display the above skills and can advocate for those in care to maintain their dignity and respect at all times. They will also ideally have experience of working with children with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Salary: up to ??8.45 / hour. Part time & flexible working with view to full time.
