Job Title: Senior Facilities Officer

Location: Gainsborough

Salary: Band 10 £32,486 to £34,538 per annum

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (37 hours per week)

Job Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Council's Property and Assets Team. You will play the key part in the delivery of the Service and be able to identify commercial and income generating opportunities in line with the Council's entrepreneurial vision.

You will be responsible for the day to day management of the Facilities & Estates Team, as well as ensuring the implementation and ongoing compliance with all Health & Safety, statutory compliance and governance processes associated with, cleaning, maintenance and capital projects.

They will consider individuals from an Estates background for the role of Senior Facilities Officer, the following will be important:

  • A flexible approach to work that will allow for success in an environment that can often be subject to change, both in terms of seasonal demand and business priorities.
  • A strong, in-depth understanding of effective Facilities delivery with the ability to implement a process-led Facilities operation.
  • Being fully conversant with current Health & Safety legislation
  • Excellent people management capability, with a strong track record in building new relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong commercial and finance acumen, paired with significant experience in the management of contracts.
  • A familiarity with compiling a large, comprehensive asset register and using this to deliver an effective planned maintenance schedule.
