Our client are a major Automotive supplier looking to take on a Lean / Continous Improvement specialist. This is a challenging role with a forward thinking business that offers solid career progression.

• The Lean Practitioner will provide training and coaching to managers and employees.
• You will need to establish a culture of continuous improvement where individuals feel empowered and are versed in the lean principles.

• Ensure safe working practices are followed and improve Health and Safety
• Lead, monitor and mentor improvement teams and projects
• Conduct training for managers and employees in the lean principles
• Establish a self-perpetuating culture of continuous improvement
• Ensure the deployment and maintaining of tools such as 5S, TPM, KanBan, Hoshin Kanri etc.
• Identify the opportunities for waste elimination and conduct workshops to improve the value streams
• Manage improvement projects and multi-disciplinary teams
• Continually seek improvements in manufacturing efficiency, cycle time reduction and quality

Education and Qualifications
• Qualified in practical implementation of lean tools and techniques
• Train the trainer

Previous Experience
• Min 2 years' experience as a lean practitioner
• Project management

• Salary Benefits and Conditions of Appointment
• Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience - 39 hour week
• Holidays - 24 working day's holiday plus statutory days
• Holiday allowance increases by one day per complete calendar year to a maximum of 29
