Operations Manager - Grantham Meres Leisure Centre

About your role

Are you business minded, driven with previous management experience preferably within the leisure environment?

Grantham Meres Leisure Centre is a large facility. The centre boasts a 65 station gym, a virtual group cycling studio, 2 aerobic studies delivering over 50 classes a week, two indoor sports halls,25 metre main swimming pool, teaching pool & 2 leisure pools, Football/athletics stadium, 3G football Pitch, Tennis Courts and much more!

Supporting the General Manager you will take all the necessary steps to ensure the customer service is second to none. This will involve effective deployment of your teams, ensuring adherence to Health and Safety requirement and taking on a hands on approach to service delivery.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, team player and approachable providing a quality experience for all visitors and staff. The successful candidate should also have a good working knowledge of Health and Safety & knowledge of Quality systems, specifically Quest.

A National Pool Lifeguard & Pool Plant Operators qualification would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given to the successful candidate.

This role would be an excellent career progression for an experienced Duty Manager or a current Operations Manager looking for a new challenge.

A flexible approach to hours of work will be required as you will be working on a shift rota, including early mornings, evenings & weekends.
