We are recruiting for a Test Engineer to join our manufacturing division based in Lincoln, supporting our Industrial Turbo-machinery business within Siemens. We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual to work in a friendly team environment, where full training will be given to the successful candidate. We are looking for someone who is punctual and reliable with excellent attention to detail.

What are my responsibilities?

- To ensure that all documentation is correct prior to the installation of engine to be tested
- To ensure that the Test Facility is correctly set up for the engine to be tested
- To ensure that equipment is calibrated prior to testing
- To ensure the completeness of documentation prior to testing the engine
- To co-ordinate the team during the testing of the engine
- To ensure that the test process is safely and efficiently performed
- To report and document any non-conformity of engine and/or facility during testing
- .To liaise with all departments associated with testing
- To complete documentation associated with post-test activities

What do you need to qualify for the job?

- HNC or Degree
- Demonstrable experience in Testing or Commissioning
- Experience in Rustronic MKII and Siemens PCS7 controls systems
- The ability to communicate at all levels
- I.T. skills
