My Client Castlet is an independently owned Engineering company based in Lincoln, with 30 employees. They manufacture a wide range of high quality products, notably in the Power Control and Aerospace markets. They export approx. 70% of our products worldwide and have a good reputation within their core markets.
An exciting opportunity exists to join their team, based in their Lincoln office as a Technical Sales Engineer, as such you will report to the Sales Director and will be capable of sourcing new business across the UK and worldwide, whilst also supporting existing customers and our overseas agents. The successful candidate needs to be a self motivated, professional team player with a proven track record in sales.

Key Responsibilities as Technical Sales Engineer are, but not limited to:
• Be a key stakeholder in defining a new sales Strategy.
• Improve Sales presence in the market place.
• Maintain and monitor sales budget with the Sales Director.
• Develop new and existing customers from the current database.
• Assess site conditions and requirements pertinent to individual projects.
• Work with the Engineering team to find competitive quotation design solutions.
• Prepare detailed costings for project quotations.
• Liaise with the project team post order.

Technical Sales Engineer requirements are, but not limited to:
The ideal candidate will be a self motivated Sales Engineer and will have worked in some form of power supply, High Voltage transformer, high power transformer or LV control Gear / automation environment and have a proven track record.
• Must have a full driving licence suitable for use in the UK.
• Being able to travel overseas is an essential part of this role.
• Be fully proficient with MS word, Excel, Access and Power Point.
• Highly developed negotiation skills and the closing of sales.
• Knowledge of HV or High power transformer is preferable but not essential.
