Our client is currently recruiting for a Registered Manager (Residential Child Care) to work closely with the Responsible Individual, to help ensure that the Home meets high standards.

Duties & Responsibilities;
- Ability to manage the home including allocation of duties & responsibilities, staff deployment, day to day supervision & oversight
- Comprehensive understanding of child development
- Understanding the complexities of group living
- Effective communication with staff, children, families, partners & other organisations
- Ability to manage, monitor & improve performance in order to provide
- Best Value Services & to develop effective team performance
- Ability to make informed decisions, offer direction & lead by example
- Ability to work as part of a team within the home & across the company
- To identify developmental needs of staff
- Ability to understand equality issues & knowledge & consideration of meeting the diverse needs of the staff team & children
- To be able to practice in accordance with established policies & procedures
- Experience of handling conflict & managing sensitive issues to achieve positive outcomes
- To present as a stable and consistent role model for children, staff & the company
- An understanding of the company???s equality & diversity policy, a commitment to its implementation and application in employment & service delivery
- Willingness to undertake further training & development as necessary

Experience;
- To hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Child Care
- Within the past 5 years worked for at least 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children
- Worked for at least one year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role
- To have up to date knowledge of The Children???s Homes Regulations 2015 & other relevant child care legislation, government guidance & best practice
- Detailed, working knowledge of child protection policies and procedures

??30,000 per year,plus Bonus.

You will work 39 hours a week.
