Our award winning pub restaurant offers diners a popular Modern British menu served alongside traditional Pub Classics, all prepared to a very high standard, using locally sourced ingredients.
We are now looking for an experienced Chef de Partie/ Junior Sous Chef to join our team, ideally from a fresh food cooking background. This would suit an established Chef de Partie looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will have creative culinary skills matched to an outgoing personality allowing them to make the most of the finest, freshest produce available. You will be able to produce food of a consistently high standard, and be confident in all aspects of food preparation and service. You are required to have the willingness to learn from more experienced chefs as well as passing on knowledge to junior members of the team.
Other essential requirements of the role:
• Must have NVQ level 2 certificate
• Previous experience in a similar environment
• Must adhere to food hygiene standards
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work within a team
• Driven and self-motivated
The Position will include working 5 days out of 7 over split shifts, and includes weekend work and bank holidays.
Competitive salary based on experience, plus bonuses
Due to location own transport is essential.
