Our client is one of the leading manufacturers of building products for the UK's construction industry. They provide the materials for life's essential structures, helping their customers build with ease and confidence.
Joining them as Contracts Coordinator, you will support the Contracts Department with the co-ordination of supply and installation activities of pre-cast flooring components which are manufactured at the Hoveringham works.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation of installation schedules, the preparation of delivery notes and liaison with their customer base, checking progress with delivery requirements, housekeeping and updating their internal database. You will play a key part in helping them achieve the most cost effective and efficient execution of our delivery installation operations.
The successful candidate must have achieved GCSE Pass in Maths, English and an IT related subject and have special functional knowledge and experience. With a quantitative and qualitative market understanding, you will foresee and act to meet customers' needs and drive customer and supplier relations. Able to demonstrate openness to change, flexibility and adaptability, you will be straight forward and goal orientated and have the ability to apply effective persuasion and negotiation skills.
Good communication skills are a pre-requisite as this role involves a high level of discussion with other departments of the business, in particular, the Drawing Office, Production Planning, Customers and Installation teams.
