Ashfield District Council has a unique opportunity available for a Heating Engineer to join the team. The role is a full time, permanent position offering a salary of £23,398-24,174 per annum plus tool allowance.

What are the responsibilities of the Heating Engineer?
We are looking for a qualified tradesperson to undertake repairs and maintenance work allied to the plumbing and heating trade discipline in both tenanted and empty properties. You will carry out all types of repairs and maintenance work in a multi-skilled environment allied to the Plumbing and Heating trade discipline in both tenanted and void properties.
What do we look for in a Heating Engineer?
You will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills whilst carrying out repair work to stock and possess the appropriate City and Guilds, or equivalent gas qualification. Combined with knowledge of general building and construction, you will require a friendly and positive outlook, along with experience of dealing with the public and full valid driving licence.
