Location: County House, 100 Chesterfield Road South, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, NG19 7AQ

Based at our Mansfield office this is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting our dynamic forward thinking Trading Standards Service to take strong effective enforcement action to tackle the issues causing the most detriment to our communities.

You will be responsible for further development and management of the intelligence capability for Nottinghamshire Trading Standards Service, producing intelligence packages to support the intelligence-led activities of the Service and its partner agencies. You will be the single point of contact for most partner agencies.

You will need significant practical experience of working with the National Intelligence Model in a law enforcement context and of researching, manipulating and analysing data from a variety of sources.

Essential, are a proven ability to apply the highest standards of confidentiality, a good knowledge of data protection legislation and disclosure issues and good IT skills.

We are looking for a highly self-motivated person who is a good team player and good communicator at all levels. You must hold a valid UK Driving Licence to drive a car and the post comes with a casual user allowance. (A taxi service is available for a disabled employee).
