This is an exciting time to join British Canoeing, as we have just launched an exciting and ambitious new strategy for paddlesport in the UK (2017-2021).  In the last four years, British athletes have won multiple World Cup, European Championship, World Championship, Paralympic and Olympic medals in Canoe Slalom, Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe. British Canoeing has an aspiration to deliver even more medals at more championship events and to inspire the next generation through exceptional performances.

British athletes have achieved medal success at each of the last five Olympic Games. The Rio Games were the most successful ever, with the Canoe Slalom and Canoe Sprint teams winning two Gold and two Silver Olympic medals and the Paracanoe team winning three Gold and two Bronze medals.

British Canoeing is seeking to appoint a Talent Programme Administration Officer.  This is an exciting role which requires an experienced pro-active, versatile individual with a ‘can do’ attitude and strong attention to detail. This is a key role in supporting British Canoeing’s Talent Programme and the Talent Pathway Managers. You will be responsible for key administrative and logistical support for the delivery of British Canoeing’s Talent Programme.

Our hours of work are 37 per week although weekend and evening work will sometimes be required.  British Canoeing also operates a pension scheme and childcare voucher scheme.
