A globally successful Automotive company, are looking NOW for a Quality Measurement Team Leader, to lead the day to day activities of a small team of Quality Co-ordinators and CMM Operator, ensuring all dimensional studies and inspection requirements are completed on time and in full. You will come from a CMM background, and have some supervisory skills, ideally from a fast paced manufacturing background. The Company:- - Well established company with sites in the US, Asia and Europe - Specialise in providing Automotive Interior and Exterior Systems - One of the largest automotive interior component companies, supplying globally the Automotive Sector Job Purpose:- To lead the day to day activities of the Quality Co-ordinators and CMM operative ensuring that all dimensional studies and inspection requirements are completed on time and in full. Ensure that all measurement equipment is fit for purpose and adequately controlled Job Duties:- - Provide day to day leadership and direction for the Quality Co-Ordinators and CMM Operative - Ensure Calibration system is maintained and suitable performance metrics are in place - Ensure all dimensional studies are completed on time and in full - Develop and execute an annual layout inspection plan - Provide assistance to GR&R and Capability Studies - Develop a process to ensure all new gauging delivered to the site has been suitably assessed and verified prior to acceptance - Assist in risk assessments for all measurement and gauging related activities. - Develop a training and development plan for the team - Provide cover for the CMM Operator when required - Develop and implement a dynamic method for gauge storage and identification - Develop standard working methods for the team, and lead meetings The Suitable Candidate:- - Experienced CMM Operator with supervisory experience - Ideally from a Fast Moving or High Volume Manufacturing Industry such as Automotive - Experience in gauge R&R and capability studies - Strong with proven leadership skills, able to manage, coach and motivate small teams - Excellent communication and organisational skills - Computer literate / conversant with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) Jenrick Engineering always has a wide range of contract and permanent engineering jobs available within the UK.
