Our client is seeking an experience Accounts Assistant to manage, process, record and maintain financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
Bank & cash reconciliation
Balance sheet reconciliation
Processing sales, invoices, receipts and payments
Credit control
Complete VAT returns
Preparation of management reports
Resolving accounts queries
Preparing cash flow statements
Payroll processing
Checking company bank statements
Skills / Experience / Attributes
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualities:
At least 2/3 years' proven experience within a finance team for a SME
AAT level 3 or above is essential
Good with IT -, Microsoft and Excel, Sage 50 would be desirable
Confident and able to work autonomously.
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work to quickly and accurately to deadlines
Honest, discreet and trustworthy
A positive and flexible attitude is an essential part of the team culture.
