GROUP HR MANAGER Salary: £55,000 - £62,000 Excellent Bonus Medical Location: Lincoln area OVERVIEW: An organisation that takes pride in their product and offers the full production solution from start to end process. THE ROLE -This is an operational 'generalist' HR role assisting the HR Director in people management, both at strategic and operational level. -The role is geared towards 'employee engagement', delivering a proactive and integrated approach to HR in supporting managers to get the best out of their teams and looking at talent attraction, people development opportunities and succession planning. -The role will involve working with dept. heads to ensure team structures allow for growth. -Focus on working and building strong relationships with the management teams at all sites to recruit and retain the best talent. -Devising benefit and reward systems using benchmarking data such as salary surveys. -Overseeing the company's wellbeing strategy. -Challenging the site leadership teams to deliver continuous improvement in people management by using KPI's. -Coaching of senior Managers, looking at ER cases, ensuring all policies and procedures are up-to-date. -Strong organisational skills required, work as a team and on own - using initiative, excellent at prioritising, a results driven individual. THE CANDIDATE -Educated to degree level, CIPD qualified -4 years' experience at HRB or HRM level in an Operational 'Generalist' HR role. -Specialised or experienced in talent management, development of staff, looking at strategy for the people management piece. -Someone who can demonstrate having built strong stakeholder relationships UK wide, influenced and mentored key operational staff/Managers. -Added value to a growing business looking to make people count and attract the best talent to develop the business in a very competitive world (seeking employer of choice status across the business). -Strong background in ER, legal knowledge, strong employment law understanding, excellent IT skills e.g. implementing systems, using HR systems, working in an environment where setting KPI's following reports, data is key. -Exemplary communication skills, able to demonstrate an understanding of company financial performance and budgets. -A get up and go type, down-to-earth, approachable, focused on the job in hand, capable of demonstrating passion and infectious enthusiasm that motivate staff. -Must act as a role model for the organisation in the way the culture and values are embraced. -A strong operationally minded, hands on, driven and down-to-earth HR professional. -A confident individual who can build relationships across a business and really understands and believes in the HR piece of talent, development, succession, ER, strong company values, employer of choice and how to embed these values into a business getting results. -Ideally experienced gained in HR working in a changing environment in manufacturing, FMCG in a regional HR role of responsibility.
