They are looking to recruit a QA Manager out their site in Ruskington, where they manufacturer a variety of ready to eat snacking products. You will be the right hand person to the Technical Manager on site, driving raw material quality at goods intake and working with other sites and external suppliers to achieve adherence to specification to meet customer standards and expectations of the finished product. As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be ensuring the factory production team adhere to agreed HACCP process flows and critical control points in accordance with BRC & customer requirements. You will also oversee line quality procedures and maintain quality standards from customer specifications and assist in the training of new QA operatives. To be the successful QA Manager, you will need to be a proactive person who is always looking for improvements, with an ability to problem solve. Previous functional experience at a QA Manager level in a food manufacturing environment is essential and meat manufacturing or cooked meats experience would be advantageous Excellent organisation and communication skills are a must for this role, as is a high degree of self motivation and self management. Strong IT skills are essential and ideally the successful candidate will have technical/QA management experience within a food manufacturing environment, ideally with protein and hold a relevant degree or equivalent demonstrating technical awareness.
