Job Overview: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Procurement & Business Support Administrator on a 3 month contract, based on the outskirts of Mansfield.


- Support the complete tender process
- Building strong relationships with suppliers
- Liaising with Area Manager in regards to order and shipment tracking
- Assisting the Area Managers in relation to stock and inventory control
- Helping to source and negotiate with suppliers in order to obtain the best terms and prices available
- Assisting with the development of future procurement plans and helping monitor annual budget
- Reviewing contracts and identifying possible improvements

Administration support

- Answering of phones, dealing with queries, forwarding calls and taking messages
- Mailbox management of enquiries and registration inboxes
- Administer and support the administration process of programmes and contracts
- Supporting with the logistic, venue bookings and administration

About you:

- Experience of procurement
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications and experience of using databases
- Must be competent in planning and organising own workload working, at times, to tight deadlines
- Influencing and Negotiation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

What's in it for you?

This is a full time, 3 month initial contract with the possibility of the role becoming permanent. In return you will be offered GBP17, 000 with 25 days holidays pro rata, plus bank holidays.
