An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to support (and deputise for) the Coffee Shop Manager at our Downtown Grantham store in all aspects of the day-to-day running of our popular and very busy 200-seat Coffee Shop.

This will include staffing, food preparation, customer care, ordering, stock control, and ensuring that hygiene standards are met.

To succeed in helping to lead a 30-strong team, it is essential that you have previous supervisory / management experience, ideally gained in a similar coffee shop or catering environment.  You should also have basic cooking and food preparation experience, as well as excellent leadership, communication, administration and customer service skills.

A food hygiene qualification is preferred, although not essential.

Hours will be 25 per week, worked on varying shifts over 5 days out of 7 between Sunday and Saturday, including regular weekends and evenings, and Bank Holidays.  You should be able to offer a flexible approach to working times.
