This is an exciting opportunity to join the Play for Disabled Children Team Saturday Clubs Project for 2 Saturdays per month (7.5 hours per shift). We have positions available at either our Newark, Mansfield or Ashfield Saturday Clubs.

You will work within a specialist play setting alongside an experienced team providing and adapting play/youth opportunities to meet the requirements of disabled children and young people.

Play Support Workers require experience or training in play or childcare. You will need to be flexible, compassionate, have a willingness to learn/train, and be able to support and care for children/young people aged 5 - 17 years enabling them to access play and leisure activities. Training to develop your expertise will be available. Due to the nature of the work, you should be aged 18 or over.

Disabled applicants who meet the essential short listing requirements will be guaranteed an interview. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
