Our client, a large manufacturer based in Lincolnshire, are seeking to appoint an experienced part-time HR Manager to work approximately two days per week to start with.

The job will initially be temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent.

The job

Your duties would include but not limited to:

  • Recruitment
  • Absence Management
  • Disciplinary & Grievance
  • Employee relations
  • Induction
  • Training & Development
  • Appraisal & Performance Review
  • Policy development
  • Ad hoc projects and initiatives

The person

This new, stand-alone position would suit somebody looking to get back into an HR role or somebody used to working independently and looking to move to a larger organisation, with the flexibility of this being a part-time contract to start.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Practical experience in an HR environment
  • Knowledge of Employment Law.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good numeracy and literacy
  • Proficient in all areas of Microsoft Office
  • Appropriately adaptable to a diverse workforce
  • Generalist experience within HR
  • Experience of working with a computerised HR system
  • PC literate with good Word, Excel and Outlook skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills
