RealBee Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Full Time Management Accountant for their respected client based in Lincoln.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, self-starter with excellent communication skills with an ability to work to tight deadlines.

Duties:
• Responsible for the accuracy of site general ledger. Includes preparation and posting of journals, Maintenance of GL accounts within group structure. Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of site period end submissions and reports
• Preparation of relevant management financial information and the interpretation of reporting with the aim providing financial guidance to operational management on how to sustain or improve the financial performance of the business.
• Reports will include; Sales Analysis, Margin Analysis, Manufacturing variance analysis, overhead analysis, Key performance Indicators, Income statement, Balance sheets and Cash flow analysis
• Working for Financial Controller, assure timely submissions of site data and commentaries
• Assisting with the annual Budget process for the site and using modelling techniques to support management decision-making.
• Assistance with the proactive compilation of financial forecasts by utilising business intelligence on order book, production efficiency, variance analysis and any other relevant information
• Be responsible for maintenance and the accuracy of Product cost calculations and the consequent Inventory valuation.
• Calculation of and related posting of g/l entries for Labour recovery & Overhead recovery rates.
• Expedite the Stock take / Cycle count procedures and ensure accurate stock representation.
• Provide guidance on Sales Price calculations with regards to expected margins and payback analysis.
• Assist in preparation of Capex requests. Payback Analysis for all business projects
• Provide support by using financial information to identify Products & Assets which are nearing the end of their Life cycle. (Through identification of Sales volume decline, diminishing profitability, counter optimal costs)
• Working with the General Manager in the identification, assessment, and prioritisation of business risks followed by coordinated and economical application of resources to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and/or impact of unfortunate events.
• This includes being the custodian of Financial Controls, being the Audit liaison & monitoring DLA compliance for the site
• Ensure annual physical verification of fixed assets and identify and record possible impairments. Monthly reconciliation of fixed asset balances
• To be conversant in payroll, pension, insurance, taxation and treasury matters

Qualified in CIMA, ACCA or equivalent, you will have experience of standard costing and accounting in a manufacturing environment.
