SMC Limited comprises three well established brands; Custodian Monitoring, Mentor Business Systems and Remote Video Response. We monitor fire, security and healthcare equipment installed at over 250,000 premises across the UK and Europe and provides business software solutions to companies in the service delivery sector. Our reseller sales channel is well established with a sound reputation for quality of service and innovation derived from our focus on meeting customer needs and continually investing in state of the art technology.

SMC Limited is now seeking a bright, talented professional to work as a Sales & Marketing Administrator from our Nottingham (NG2) Monitoring Centre Customer Hub.

The Role
This varied role combines sales administration, sales support and marketing/design
Provide an efficient and effective sales administrative support to the new SMC Channel Manager to assist in the stabilization and growth of the portfolio revenue and sales plan
Working as part of a small, friendly team, you will be required to provide an efficient and effective sales administrative support to existing customers and our team of field sales representatives
You will help design visual web content, as well as marketing and presentation materials
Support marketing activities and improvement projects across the CMRS group and the creation and implementation of e-marketing campaigns
Promote product awareness and provide advice regarding our products and services
Create proposals and quotations, following through to contract arrangement
Provide exceptional customer service via the telephone and in writing, maintaining existing and building new customer relationships and resolving queries

The Candidate
Of Graduate calibre, you must essentially be an excellent communicator (both written and verbally) and be able to naturally build and develop relationships with customers.
You will have excellent customer service skills, a bright personality and the desire to progress your career within UTC.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint is essential plus additional knowledge of design programs including WordPress, Photoshop & Google Analytics
You will need a creative design / sales & marketing skill-set - perhaps you have studied Graphics or Web Design, Business Admin or Marketing
Some experience of working in a sales admin or sales support role within an office or call centre
Organised and be able to work in a team.
You will need to demonstrate a ``Can Do`` attitude, passion for your work and be motivated and driven to achieving deadlines and goals.
