Manpower Resource Planner
We are recruiting for a Manpower Planner, Level 2tojoin ourcustomer servicedivision, supporting our Industrial Turbomachinery business within Siemens. You will be responsible for identifying suitable engineers for each service outage or new unit installation for delivery to site, meeting the demands of theglobal Small Gas Turbine fleet. You will also ensure all travel processes are met. We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual to work in a friendly team environment, where full training will be given to the successful candidate. We are looking for someone who is punctual and reliable with excellent attention to detail. What are my responsibilities? - Maintain department processes and process procedures. - Identifying Field Service skills gap and recommending courses of action to fix. - Ensuring all HSE requirements are fulfilled and processes are adhered to / developed to maintain best practice. - Support the manager in defining the manpower demand profile for the next 2 years. - Creation ofcorrect global delegation paperwork for all mobilised FSEs outside of Great Britain through Global Mobility Services (GMS) - Periodic review of plan versus actual data to understand process breakdowns and generate improvement projects - Ensure all compliance requirements are met with respect to customer and supplier relations - Supply of named resources to internal customers in a timely manner - Delivery of manpower to site in line with customer requirements - Accuracy of all planning tools used within the process - primarily SAP & Primavera - Creation of Purchase Requisitions / Purchase Orders for the use of sub-contract labour - Organising necessary travel and accommodation required for FSEs - Manage level of sub-contractor spend within budgeted limits What do I need to qualify for this job? - A knowledge of planning and scheduling - Some knowledge of the Siemens Gas Turbine product range would be desirable - Clear written and verbal communication skills - Strong IT skills, especially MS Office - Knowledge of Primavera would be beneficial, but not essential.
