Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Supervisor Lincoln
Hays Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a market leading organisation in the Lincoln area. The job is a long term and ongoing temporary role and is a liaison role between accounts receivables and accounts payables functions in multiple locations. Whilst there is not direct staff management, you will have to work closely with the ledger teams and oversee month end work, be able to pick up issues and progress them through the systems where possible, working closely with outsourced teams. The role will not involve performing or overseeing invoice processing as this is done by a team elsewhere but will involve reviewing what that team do and check over some of the work, acting as a "go between" between the teams and resolving issues or conflicts as they arise. There will also be responsibility for reconciling goods received not invoiced accounts, reviewing, analysing and clearing down of balances.
You will have recent and proven experience of managing complex and high volume accounts receivables and payables accounts. You will need to be very analytical in nature with excellent Excel skills. You will need to react to change very quickly, come up with ideas and suggestions and implement them and have outstanding communication skills with finance and non finance personnel at all levels and be confident to resolve issues. Previous experience of staff management would be highly beneficial although not directly required for this role.
