About the Company: Our client has a successful business in Newark within the manufacturing industry and currently has a vacancy for a strong Sales Engineer. Job overview: You will be servicing and supporting existing customers, generating leads through researching and identifying new markets and customers. Main Duties: - Maintaining customer records (CRM document). - Planning, monitoring and developing the sales process to improve the efficiency of the sales function. - Visiting customer sites to review requirements for the generation of equipment and duty specifications. - Selecting the appropriate product for the application and conducting test-work where necessary. - Maintaining effective communication with internal/external customers and outside resources concerning technical issues. - Provide Sales reports to company management detailing customer feed-back, market trends, competitor activity and potential product or market development. - Maintaining and creating company product literature and promotional products. - Producing proposal drawings to assist tender responses and technical proposals - Providing technical support through, testing and commissioning activities. - Providing technical assistance for product development, production and customer support. - Assisting with maintaining and development of the Companies Q/A policy. - Aiding with the developing of standard product ranges. About you: You must demonstrate that you have had a strong sales background in a previous role and be confident with going out on the road to see customers and clients. You will ideally be interested in manufacturing and be used to preparing technical proposals. Whats in it for you: You will recieve a company car and a very attractive salary of 35,000 to 40,000 P/A.
