Project Worker - Nights
Nacro is a social justice charity. It helps vulnerable people to change their lives and to reach their full potential by addressing social exclusion, inequality of opportunity and deprivation. We design and deliver services that equip people with the skills, advice, attitude and support they need to move their lives on and to become part of their community. Our services cover education, housing, substance misuse treatment and the prevention of reoffending. Our services in Grantham have bespoke working arrangements that support young people from the age of 16 who are homeless or are threatened with homelessness. The services are staffed on a 24 hour basis, 7 days per week and young people and young parents are supported on a needs led basis. We are currently recruiting highly motivated individuals who want to be part of a team who make a difference to the lives of young people in an exciting but challenging environment. You will need excellent interpersonal skills mixed with a good understanding of issues young people face. Previous experience of working in a similar role is essential. This is a waking night role working 4 shifts on, 4 shifts off. Start time 10:45pm - 8:15am. This role will include weekend duties. At Nacro we believe in Young People. Salary for this role based on the hours of work, will be £14,393 per annum £1,088 unsociable hours. Employment for this position will be conditional upon a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Disclosure.
