Field Supervisor - Leakage

MWH Treatment are looking to strengthen their field based leakage team with a full time field supervisor for our Anglian Water contract. This is a field based role with some office time required. It is a full time permanent vacancy 40 hours a week 7.30- 4 Monday to Friday and potential overtime. Flexible approach to working hours will be required Main Role To support & assist the efficient and effective running of the MWH leakage delivery team. Key to delivery of this objective will be the provision of an effective supervision of a field based leakage team, their organisation and quality of work This may include regional activities. The role is based in Lincolnshire but may involve some travelling to other offices and sites within the Anglian Water region. Main Duties • General support of the area manager • Quality auditing of the leakage team and updating local quality documents and records with a strong focus on health and safety including NRSWA and water hygiene compliance, correct PPE and manual handling procedures are used and that MWH safe systems of work are being applied • Training new starters and helping with inductions • Ensuring that all work is carried out to the standard expected of MWH and the client • Personnel record administration including leave records, training records, PDR records, PPE records • Dealing with customer complaints in the field as and when they happen • Liaising with the Transport Department to resolve vehicle issues Attributes required • Ability to help improve KPI performance across the team • Strong communication skills • Literate in general computer skills with good keyboard skills • Experienced in use of Microsoft Office applications • Effective performer in the competencies set out by the area manager and client team • Willing and able to work at different locations as required • Able to manage numerous tasks and adapt and reprioritise as circumstances demand to meet requirements and timescales • Drives own workload with a proactive approach • To be able support the managers in day to day activities • Willing and able to offer optimal support to the local and wider team • Deals politely and co-operates with customers, members of the public, other departments and representatives of external organisations • Capable of dealing effectively with all levels of organisations • Ensures confidentiality maintained where required • Ensures accuracy and completeness of documents/electronic communications produced • Organises effectively to ensure all requirements are met • Water working experience not needed at all but the ideal candidate must be willing to learn.
