The Podiatry/Diabetes Nurse Specialist willmanage the East region to include North and North East Lincolnshire, Mid Yorkshire, Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham, East Midlands (Nottingham, Derby), Coventry, Warwickshire, Norfolk and Norwich. Our client is a major contributor to the UK wound healing market and offers an impressive portfolio of high quality, innovative and sophisticated wound management products. The design of their wound healing solutions combine cost effectiveness with the overall improvement of patient quality of life. The role on offer is a field based role where extensive travel throughout the territory will be required. You will be, involved in developing added value clinical training and support activities such as Study events, Clinical and service led audits and evaluations, Merchandising via appropriate education of our clients products that are included on Wound care Formularies both in the community and acute. You will need to understand and be aware of competitor products, company activity and be able to share this information. The delivery of customer group training and education will be key along with supporting and delivering company sales team training. Key duties and responsibilities; - To interface with Marketing and Training to help develop on-going clinical and educational plans - To maintain current reporting requirements i.e. Business plans, Sales , CS activity report. - To exhibit high levels of knowledge relating to the company and competitor products and maintain excellent clinical and research ability. - To engage with and recruit new KOLs and advocates for products at a regional level and develop via the ladder of adoption and/or in new product areas. - To recommend participants (KOLs) to benefit from our clients funded development opportunities e.g., conference delegate sponsorship - To assist in the recruitment of clinical centres to participate in clinical evaluations (combining the needs of marketing, KOLs and the clinical experience of the centres) - To participate in the initiation and follow-up of evaluations through regular centre visits to monitor progress - To develop evaluation tools - To collect, analyse and produce results - To deliver appropriate support and evidence based programmes at national meetings - To work closely with the Marketing Team to ensure all promotional material and marketing strategies are clinically credible - To work effectively with the Training Department to enhance our current clinical educational programmes for both internal and external customers.
