THE ROLE … … is that of a Service Delivery Manager , to manage the delivery of our Design and Development services. You will be part of a growing team and business, who specialise and focus solely on supporting businesses that use Magento’s eCommerce platform throughout the UK and abroad. Internally, for your clients and for the Managing Director you will be the main point of contact for the Design & Development service; for questions, updates and to talk about new ideas which in turn help take their eCommerce website to the next level. The role will require someone with eCommerce knowledge and experience, an expert that can give advice and help create the next set of necessary tasks. It will also demand excellent organisation and communication skills. The main focus and delivery points of the role are as follows: · Being involved within costing stages; whether collaborating with the Managing Director on new business or providing smaller costs to your current clients · Scoping in collaboration with a Senior Developer · Scheduling the work into future weeks in line with the capacity available · Overseeing the delivery of our daily and weekly work schedules · Providing clients with updates, contacting them for information they may need and/or arranging quarterly review meetings Success in this role can open opportunities for Senior Management positions, whereby you help the business bring in more Managers and oversee the whole operation to complement the planned growth and overall strategy.
