LOCATION: North Thoresby, between Louth and Grimsby JOB TITLE: Medical Receptionist / Secretary SALARY & BENEFITS: Available on request WORKING HOURS: 22 hours per week THE COMPANY: Our client is a long established, rural NHS GP Practice based over 2 sites. Based in North Thoresby between Louth & Grimsby, this busy practice is looking to recruit a Medical Receptionist / Secretary to join their existing team. THE ROLE: The Medical Receptionist / Secretary role will be busy and varied. You will be the first point of contact for patients so you will have a professional and friendly demeanour. Your key responsibilities will be to provide administrative support in a variety of ways to support the day to day running of the medical centre. Key Responsibilities: Answering the phone promptly and dealing with enquiries efficiently Contacting patients with messages from doctors and nurses Checking patients in and making new appointments Meeting and greeting patients Dealing with and typing up referrals Filing and extracting patient’s records Secretarial duties Using a Dictaphone Working as a team with patients, colleagues and doctors THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the role of Medical Receptionist Secretary will be able to work as part of a successful team to achieve the very best for the practice. Previous experience in a GP Practice/ Hospital or similar role would be an advantage but is not essential. Key experience essential for the Medical Receptionist / Secretary role: Must live within a commutable distance of North Thoresby between Louth & Grimsby Previous experience in a Receptionist / Secretary role Due to rural location, you should have access to your own transport Must have excellent communication skills and a good telephone manner Be a strong team player Does this sound like you?
