Page Personnel are exclusively recruiting a standalone Payroll Clerk for a medium sized business in between Lincoln and Newark. Client Details Our client is a friendly and medium sized business in between Lincoln and Newark (commutable from Newark, Lincoln and Sleaford). Description The Payroll Clerk will be reporting into the Financial Controller, and will be working in the finance team alongside 4 others. You will be solely responsible for processing the payroll. Duties will include, but will not be limited to: Processing the payroll for c. 75 employees on a weekly basis - this will include calculating overtime rates and bonus Processing the payroll for c. 25 employees on a monthly basis Liaising with employees, up to Director level i.e. addressing payroll queries Statutory calculations (maternity, paternity, sick etc) Processing and administering HMRC payroll forms Arrange payment to HMRC Payment runs Ensure line managers are submitting the correct payroll documentation Generate payroll reports and analysing the data Profile To apply for this role, you: must be fully competent with payroll will have ideally used Sage Payroll, but this is not essential will have excellent communication skills.
