JOB TITLE: Registered Manager

SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive dependant on qualifications and experience

WORKING HOURS: 37.5 Hours per week

some of the most difficult challenges involving young people.

THE ROLE: An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established and successful company as a Registered Manager based in the Retford and Worksop area. The candidate will be responsible for delivery of all care services, as well as the strategic planning for developments within the home, and all day to day management matters.

Key Responsibilities for the role of Registered Manager:-
• Supervision and mentoring of staff to provide leadership and coaching when required
• Organisation of work patterns
• Facilitation of care focused training
• Enrich and create a positive future for young people
• Ensuring all matters that are related to child protection are managed in line with legislation, national standards and best safeguarding practice.
• Sustain and develop administration systems
• Managing the agreed budget

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the role of Registered Manager, based in the Retford and Worksop area, will have a minimum of 5 years' experience of working in Residential Childcare, and will hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Children and Young People's Residential Management) or Level 4 registered managers award. Experience of the supervision of staff is essential to the role, as well as experience in child protection.

Key experience essential for the role of Registered Manager:-
• A minimum of 5 years' experience of working in Residential Childcare is essential
• A minimum of 2 years' experience of working in Management within children's services
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Children and Young People's Residential Management) or Level 4 Registered Managers award is essential
• Experience of the supervision of staff is essential
• A full UK Driving Licence is essential
